WITH regard to the mayhem caused by the closure of part of Bishopthorpe Road, maybe Terry Avenue could be opened as it was for last year's Royal Ascot racing festival on Knavesmire?
Even if it were only for taxis, it would at least give those of us who live on this side of York a chance to get to the railway station and hospital etc on time.
Or is this too simple?
