NIDD Vale Motors, the Harrogate-based car retailer, has launched an autonomous new business division to sell branded motor vehicle parts to local independent service and repair outlets.
The company has been awarded the X-Part franchise for North Yorkshire and the new division, called We Sell Car Parts, is based at Nidd Vale's aftersales centre at Hornbeam Park in Harrogate.
It will be managed by Tom James, who has more than ten years experience of parts wholesaling.
Colin Hainstock, Nidd Vale's chairman and chief executive, said: "We Sell Car Parts does exactly what it says on the tin - it sells car parts made by top brands such as Lucas, Champion, Bosal and Automotive Products.
"This is an exclusive business opportunity and offers expansion into an important sector of the motor trade."
