I was impressed with last weekend's Fairtrade event in Parliament Street, York.
It was well organised with stalls selling Fairtrade food products, clothing and small gifts. The Fairtrade Forum stand had lots of infomation on where to buy Fairtrade products and what Fairtrade does to make sure people are paid a fair price for their products. They had free chocolate samples that went down a storm.
The variety of bands that played was great and some people even started dancing. I hope next year's event will be even bigger.
