Tom Hoole hit Pock's winner as they stretched their unbeaten run to five games.

Lowly Haxby registered only their third win of the season as they won at Bishopthorpe 1-0 thanks to a glancing header from club secretary Ian Watkinson.

To add to Bishopthorpe's woes they missed a penalty and had Joe Gardham carried off injured and have now gone ten homes games without a win.

Dringhouses edged nearer the title as they won 1-0 at T & L Selby with Shane Forrest hitting the vital goal.

Thorpe United remained in the hunt after a 4-3 victory at Dunnington.

Craig Pickles put Thorpe in front and Gavin Clamp and Adam Gardner extended Thorpe's lead before Dunnington reduced the deficit with goals from Andy Rose and Steve Haddon. Shaun Pickles added Thorpe's fourth with Chris Dyson pulling one back for Dunnington with an injury-time penalty.

It was a good day for second-placed Tockwith in division one as they were the only side in the top four to collect maximum points.

Goals in each half from Richard Proctor and Graham Hutchinson set up Tockwith's 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge, whose marksman was Nick Rank.

Ouseburn raced into a three-goal lead inside the first half hour with goals from Richard Dwight (2) and Andrew Kitchen before visitors Easingwold pulled one back through Andrew Metcalfe junior. A Metcalfe penalty and a Mark Hutchinson header drew Easingwold level but Mathew Crowl put Ouseburn back in front only for Metcalfe to complete his hat-trick and tie the game at 4-4.

Steve Brogan and Jon Beech gave Hamilton Panthers a handy lead at the break at Rufforth but the home side rallied to win 3-2 with goals from Liam Stilgoe (2 pens) and Graham Singleton.
