JOYCE Pickard seems to think that having listening stations such as Menwith Hill shows how the United States are trying to dominate the world (March 25).
Can I just state that if it were not for the so-called US bases, that Mrs Pickard would not be able to live the life she has become accustomed to? It irritates me when do-gooders like Mrs Pickard spout off like they do without considering the global situation without these bases.
