I am in full support of Anne Rylatt's letter encouraging the educating of drivers within the city.
I would point out, however, that cyclists and pedestrians need to take heed of the Highway Code.
Red traffic lights also apply to cyclists, that is when they are on the road and not the pavement, and the red man on a pedestrian crossing means that pedestrians should wait, and allow drivers who have the green light to cross.
