NEARLY a fifth of York voters would consider voting BNP, a shocking telephone poll reveals today.
That should be taken with a pinch of salt. It is probably more an indication of how fed up ordinary voters are with the posturing of the main political parties than any true indication of voter intentions.
Let's hope so. Because despite their more sophisticated veneer, the BNP remain the same racist bigots they have always been. Do not be fooled. We don't want them in our city.
