I READ the letter from Rory Mulvihill ("Blind Faith", April 15) more in sorrow than in anger.
Being a lawyer like me, he should be willing to investigate the evidence for the Christian faith before he dismisses it so comprehensively. Surely millions of people in the world today and down the ages cannot all be wrong.
Does he believe that the Archbishop of York, who spoke so simply yet convincingly on BBC Radio 4 on Easter Day, is misguided after all that he has been through?
Above all, can he not understand that the Christian faith is not just a doctrine but a relationship, a relationship with the God who loved the world so much that he sent Jesus to die on the cross to give to everyone who is willing to accept, including Rory, the salvation that we all need.
