I have just spent another Bank Holiday weekend trying to avoid the regular hold-ups at York's Hopgrove roundabout.
The problem is obvious - a dual carriageway, a roundabout and traffic wanting to head to Leeds or the Yorkshire coast.
It seems that one idea may be to introduce traffic lights and effective early lane control which could regulate traffic entering the roundabout and travelling east or west. It couldn't do any more harm!
