ANDY KAY has appointed a new partner on the commercial team of lawyers Langleys of York.
Mr Kay, a corporate finance sepecialist, arrives in York from Addleshaw Goddard in Leeds.
He has in-depth experience of transactional work for public and private companies and institutions with his specialisms including mergers and acquisitions, equity financing and joint ventures.
Recent deals he has worked on include the management buyout of Chaucer Foods and Fenner plc's successful offer for Wellington Holdings.
Mr Kay is the fourth new partner to join Langleys in ten months following the appointments of Patrick Murphy, Kate Hindmarch and Richard Watts. His appointment brings Langleys' total number of partners to 31.
