Malton Bacon Factory drew 1-1 at Wigginton and now need two points from their remaining two games to maintain their Leeper Hare York and District League premier division status.
New Earswick's run-in has seen them unbeaten in six division one games to move within a point of safety. A Drew Babbs hat-trick was the highlight of their latest success - a 6-0 home win over Easingwold.
Tadcaster Albion's late surge in division two yielded a 4-0 win over York RI. The victory, their 11th on the trot unbeaten, pushes them into second spot but a win or draw for Riccall in their final game next week will see them go up and leave Albion staying put.
For the second successive run of games, the top three sides in division three all recorded away wins.
A Simon Wilson hat-trick helped Huby to a 6-0 win at Wheldrake and they now only need to win on Saturday to take the title.
Andy Oldfield scored the only goal of the game at Norton as his Cawood side finished the season unbeaten in 15 games. However, they missed out on promotion as Osbaldwick, with two goals from Neil Robertson, beat Strensall 4-3.
A 4-0 win at Dunnington ensured that New Earswick escaped relegation from Reserve 'A'.
The battle to see who ascends from Reserve 'B' swung in Thorpe's favour after they beat promotion contenders Bishopthorpe 4-0 with a brace from Shane Singleton. Bishops' defeat confirmed Rufforth's promotion.
At the bottom, Wilberfoss beat fellow strugglers Heslington and now need just one more win from three games to avoid the drop.
