The old girl's not doing so badly.
York Minster has been declared one of England's greatest icons.
She has been ranked alongside the mini-skirt, Big Ben and the English pub among the national treasures we are most proud of.
She may not be the best place to go for a pint, she certainly doesn't flash much thigh, and she's not even that great on time-keeping.
But she's a stayer. And, at her age, she's earned her place in our hearts.
