I FULLY endorse the view expressed by Roy Turgoose in his letter (Unbalanced View, April 26).
No matter what the outcome of the inquiry into how the crash occurred, the facts remain that two boys under the legal age to drive took a high-powered car, presumably without the owner's permission, and drove it without a licence or insurance.
This resulted in a husband and father going legally about his work losing his life. If this car had not been taken in this way, this "accident" would not have happened.
I hope that having got over the initial shock of losing their friends that their school colleagues reflect on the fact that driving a car in this way is not a fun thing to do - it is a highly dangerous thing to do.
