Malton Bacon Factory performed the great escape as they avoided relegation from the Leeper Hare York and District League premier division by winning 3-1 away to Tate & Lyle Selby.
That victory means Bishopthorpe go down with Haxby to division one next season.
The Malton side were faced with a final run-in of six away games and in that period they suffered only one defeat.
The Selby side were reduced to ten men inside the first eight minutes for deliberate hand ball, but Bacon Factory missed the penalty.
They eventually made their numerical advantage count as Nigel Allen hit his first hat-trick of the season.
Huntington, who scored 11 goals in their first away game of the season, won their final away match 17-0 at Haxby Town, which is possible a premier division record.
The goals were shared between Chris Dyson (4), Lee Jackson, Adam Bruce, Graham McDonald, J J Smith and a hat-trick apiece for Ian Dunne, Chris Johnson and Jack Wilson.
The previous highest score in the premier division in recent times was 13 by T & L Selby in the corresponding weekend two years ago.
Kartiers lost at home for the first time in 12 games as they were beaten 2-1 by Wigginton.
Terry Taylor and Chris Havercroft scored for Wigginton, with Andrew Woodall replying for the Selby side.
Ryan Malee scored twice for Thorpe United as they won 3-2 at York St John's.
Thorpe's opener, scored by Joshua Carter, was acclaimed even by the home side as an outstanding goal. Ben Winstanley netted both the students' goals.
Paul Branscombe scored all Nestl's goals in their 3-1 win at Old Malton.
