Selby Town gained revenge for Saturday's defeat at Pickering with a 4-1 Northern Counties East League premier division over the Pikes at Flaxley Road last night.
The Robins included three of their Under-19 side and one of them, Tom Hogg, made a dream debut by scoring after just six minutes.
Pickering, 1-0 winners at the Recreation Ground on Saturday, equalised shortly after half-time when former Selby player Dominic Graham headed home.
On 69 minutes Steve Lyon broke down the flank and his cross was converted by Tom Matthews to give Selby the lead.
Any hope Pickering had of getting back into the game vanished ten minutes later when Rob Eales brought down Ian Twitchen and was sent off. Twitchen got up and slotted home the resulting penalty.
With four minutes left Lyons went on another fine run and was tripped in the box. This time Joe Connor seized the chance to take the spot-kick instead of Twitchen and completed the scoring.
