I was recently involved in an accident on our farm which resulted in a 999 call.
The paramedics arrived extremely quickly, assessed the situation and called the air ambulance, which arrived in ten minutes. A further ambulance met us at Bootham Park and took me to A & E, where a senior consultant and two nurses awaited our arrival.
I was X-rayed and the damage (which, surprisingly, was not too bad) analysed with great skill and speed, while the nurse who looked after me was extremely patient and kind.
The treatment I received was superb and of the highest standard. I want to convey my thanks to those involved. Well done and many thanks.
