SCARBOROUGH captain Lee Fowler is heading an exodus of players out of the McCain Stadium following the Seasiders' relegation to Conference North.
Fowler, along with defender Denny Ingram, is one of only two senior players under contract for next season.
However, the former Huddersfield midfielder is to be freed by mutual consent and has already opened talks with a number of other clubs.
Fowler joined Boro from Huddersfield on loan last November and then made the move permanent during the January transfer-window.
The 22-year-old scored three times in 25 Conference appearances for the Seasiders but could not prevent Neil Redfearn's side finishing bottom of the table following last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Exeter City.
Scarborough have not yet announced the names of the rest of their players who will be released at the end of their contracts this summer.
