HEAVY rain ruined Saturday's Hunters Estate Agent York and District Senior Cricket League programme.
Play did not even start in 21 matches - including the premier division fixture at Heworth.
The Elm Park Way pitch was waterlogged in parts and the match against Sessay did not get underway.
Friday's flash floods in and around York were followed by more rain on Saturday morning.
Some games did manage to get going but were unable to finish as bad weather returned.
Play was possible in only one of the six scheduled games in division two and this saw New Earswick take a full 30 points against host Dringhouses.
Andy Freeman was the star of the show when his 7-39 had Dringhouses all out for 87 in 21 overs.
Mick Kenyon responded in competitive fashion with 5-14 but his efforts were thwarted by Andy Routledge whose unbeaten 36 saw Earswick win by three wickets.
