LABOUR councillor Sandy Fraser (Letters, May 11) points out that there was across-the-board opposition to the Liberal Democrats' new constitution.
However, readers should not get the impression that there was
any consensus on Labour's alternative plans for the council.
The Labour group wanted to abolish the EMAP (Executive Member Advisory Panel) committees, so removing the day-to-accountability for council decisions.
