MICK Addinall continued his rich vein of form at Carpvale in the latest Bob-Co Tackle match.
The Newton on Ouse-based rod's latest win saw him close in on long-time league leader Bernard Guy.
Drawn on peg 17 on Cyprio.
Addinall opted to fish long with a floating pole. Offering a small bunch of floating maggots on the surface he tempted 20 carp to 5lb for a winning total of 91lb 2oz.
The rest were well behind with Kev Kilvington (Acomb Tackle) the next best with 63lb 8oz. He was drawn on peg 13 on the same lake and used corn at ten metres for a mixed bag of carp and tench.
Others: 3 Dave Higgins (Harrogate) 62-0-0, 4 Tony Hewson (Leeds Angling) 59-0-0, 5 Ian Cooper (Harrogate) 50-0-0, 6 Dave Maddison (York Tackle) 48-2-0.
Carp made Saturday's Ultimate Henglesport match the best round to date at the Willows.
Steve Pearson hammered out 40 fish to three pounds using meat up in the water on the long pole at peg 48.
His final 86lb 8oz gave him his first win of the series and proved just enough to hold Richard Carrette back in second place.
Carrette opted for caster up in the water at peg 60 where both ide and carp featured equally in his final 85lb haul.
Others: 3 Ben Fisk (Ultimate Hengelsport) 75-0-0, 4 Stewart Thompson (Angler's World Holidays) 33-8-0, 5 Dave Armitage (Bob Co) 64-8-0, 6 Tony Hewson (Leeds Angling) 62-8-0.
Two days of near-winter conditions knocked weights back a notch or two at Oaktree Leisure but it didn't prevent Tom Hodson from chalking up another convincing win.
Using pellet and corn at 12 metres off a peg 30 draw Hodson included a fine double figure grass carp with bream and carp to eight pounds as he progressed to an un-challenged 59lb 12oz.
Corn also did the business for runner-up John Davies who ended the day with 28lb 12oz of carp and bream from peg 25
Others: 3 Mark Leftbridge (Oak Tree Leisure) 20-0-0, 4= John Kerry (Elton Tackle) and Richard Moverley (Tyersal AC) both 19-4-0, 6 John Merritt (Oak Tree Leisure) 18-8-0.
The Raker Lakes Spring League remained tight right up to Sunday's final round but despite Oliver Hewitt's best efforts Stewart Birdikin had done enough to claim the title by a two-point margin.
Hewitt pulled out all the stops to win by a near 30lb margin after a day using bread at 18 metres to take a rake of carp in the 2-4 lb bracket from peg 19.
His final 79lb 9oz left John Cosgrove to fill second spot with a pellet caught bag of 50lb 12oz that came off the 16 metre line at peg 30.
Final placings: 1 Stewart Birdikin (Daiwa Trentmen) 51 pts, 2 Oliver Hewitt, (Essential Bait) 49, 3 Danny Scott (Mart Bait) 47, 4 Jim Pearson (JT Rogers) 45; 5 Malcolm Laverack (Selby) 45; 6 Dave Geldart (Boston Spa) 44.
