NUNTHORPE Grammar School 1943, Form 3A, the Water Lane boys who joined us in 1947, and contemporaries, are having a reunion on Monday, July 3, at 10.30am.
We shall meet on the steps in front of the old school building. There will then be an opportunity to stroll around and revisit scenes of former triumphs - academic or otherwise.
Parking is extremely limited, so it would be advisable to park away from the school.
The visit will be followed by light refreshments and reminiscences at a local club. Amongst those hoping to attend are Norman Swann, Peter Walford, John Wright, Jim Archbell, Phil Fowler, Jim Spence, Ray Elliott, Leo Archer, Jim Hodgson, Ray Newbegin, Guy Mitchell and Don Reap. For further information, phone 01904 798230.
Brian Hough,
York.
