York Thai boxing king Richard Cadden is still the UK number one - despite a controversial end to his big fight with number two Mike Showers.
The judges were split with one awarding a Cadden win, one awarding a draw and one plumping for Showers - seemingly in a bid for diplomacy following a volatile pre-fight environment.
But the referee tore up the Showers vote in disgust and reluctantly announced a draw.
The result has left both camps calling for a rematch but Cadden, who knocked Showers down early on, said while he is disappointed the judges did not rule fully in his favour, he is confident he is the rightful number one.
He is now looking to the upcoming event at Leeds Town Hall on June 17 where he will fight Wangvisaid Lookbanyai of Thailand.
