HE was banned for life from using a video recorder in public after he roamed around York with his camera, zooming in on women's bottoms and bra straps.
Now Andrew Mackie has appeared in court for breaching the court order by following two women round a shopping centre, filming them from behind.
Mackie, 35, was given a lifelong criminal antisocial behaviour order in May, 2004, by York magistrates, banning him from carrying anything capable of taking moving pictures, including mobile phones, in public anywhere in England and Wales.
But when he appeared before Hartlepool magistrates, prosecutor Paula Sanderson said two women realised they were being followed by Mackie.
One of them phoned her husband, who contacted the police and Mackie was subsequently arrested.
Mackie pleaded guilty to breaching an antisocial behaviour order on May 10. He also admitted four charges of voyeurism, after police discovered he had secretly filmed a naked foreign student who used to live near him in Middlesbrough.
There was no bail application and Mackie, from Newcastle, was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court at a date to be fixed.
