A TEENAGER has been arrested after a woman was shot with an air gun in York.
The 15-year-old has been bailed over the incident, which happened on March 21.
As previously reported in The Press, the victim, a 52-year-old local woman, was walking along Gale Lane having just turned the corner from Front Street, when she was struck on the head with a pellet believed to have been fired from an air gun.
She sustained superficial injuries to her head and was taken to York Hospital, but was released later the same day
