New Earswick won the battle of the basement in the York FA Under-19s League division one, beating Fulford 3-1.
Second from bottom New Earswick took the lead through Ben Hodgson, but Fulford equalised just before half-time.
Earswick regained the upper hand when Sam Lowther netted, and Adam Room sealed the win with a shot from outside the box.
In division two, free-scoring Thorpe hammered hosts Strensall 13-0, with James Leadbeater bagging five goals and Dan Mustill scoring twice.
Also on the scoresheet were Ryan Lofthouse, Davey Cryer, Craig Allen, Ryan McEvoy, Adam Gilliland and an own goal.
Haxby were beaten 6-3 at home by Copmanthorpe, whose Hugh Barlow, Oliver Bird, Sam Leach, Max Fowler, John Cox and Matt Baker scored.
Lewis Knox, Ryan Shadwell and Mat Clay netted for Haxby.
