ONE of the country’s best “foodie streets” has just got even better with the launch of a new Bangladeshi restaurant.

Only weeks after Harvilles closed in Fossgate, Mumbai Lounge has opened in the vacant premises.

The restaurant adds to an ethnic mix in the area which already includes Italian, Argentinian, Thai, Polish, Chinese and British food, in Fossgate and Walmgate.

Fossgate recently came third in the national Google Street View Awards to find the Best Foodie Street.

Restaurateur Rokib Ali said he was delighted to be moving into a street with such a high standard of restaurants, and he hoped Mumbai Lounge would prosper through word of mouth by satisfied customers.
