SPECIAL guests arrived at York Environment Centre’s tenth birthday celebrations on a seven-seater cycle.
Chris Mullin, former MP and Secretary of State for the Environment, who officially opened the Environment Centre at St Nicholas Fields, Tang Hall, in 2000, was joined by newly re-elected city MP Hugh Bayley to celebrate the anniversary.
York poet Anneliese Emmans Dean and Heworth Cubs performed Compost: The Musical for visitors, and the centre held an exhibition about the past ten years.
