THE newly elected MP for Selby and Ainsty has got straight down to work by holding his first surgeries.
While his leader David Cameron and other senior politicians were planning alliances with the Liberal Democrats, Nigel Adams was meeting constituents at the Londesborough Arms Hotel and in Tadcaster.
Mr Adams said: “I promised that if I was elected I would hold my first surgeries the day after polling day because I think it’s important to get cracking with the job. “There is a lot to do and I am sure it is going to continue to be a busy time.”
