After the success of 2009, the Yorkshire Wolds Challenge Walk is back for 2010.
Last year Rebecca, Laura, Natalie, Emma and Kerry from the Brough area, joined forces to become the “30 Somethings” and took on the 30-mile challenge, raising vital funds for Sue Ryder Care.
The Yorkshire Wolds Challenge Walk 2010 will take place on Saturday, July 3, and starts and finishes in Brantingham, East Yorkshire. There are two walks to choose from – the original, demanding yet pleasant 30-mile figure of eight route and, for those who like to spend more time appreciating the view, a more managable 12-mile version. Rebecca said: “It was a great experience to take up the challenge and walk the route as part of a team. To know that we were raising money for such a fantastic cause made it all the more worthwhile, and we all felt a real sense of achievement to complete the challenge.”
Walkers should sign up at suerydercare.org, gather as much sponsorship as they can and show up ready to take on the challenge.
