AFTER having a blackout at York Station and falling down the stairs at the bridge, cracking my head and causing chaos, I cannot believe the care and attention given to me by staff at the station.
They not only comforted me when I came to, but helped me into the ambulance, reassuring me all the time.
They then made arrangements for my sister-in-law to continue her journey first class because of the delay. I hope the person who put her coat under my head will get in touch via The Press as this must be covered in blood and I will gladly replace it.
Today another surprise – a beautiful huge bouquet of flowers wishing me a speedy recovery.
Thank you all so much.
G Joyce, York.
