Once the furore of the General Election campaign has receded, including the introduction of the American-style cross-party presentation of the leaders of the three main parties, may I suggest by way of a diversion at the next election that instead of all the political rhetoric and points scoring, they are subjected to a game show, to see how they fare.
After all, there does seem a lack of knowledge and lessons learned from the follies and mistakes made by their predecessors.
Choice of preference bearing in mind their political affiliations and backgrounds would be based on Countdown, The Weakest Link, Bullseye and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
The remaining fringe parties could participate in a form of Celebrity Squares and in the case of a hung Parliament, Bargain Hunt. Although the voter may have the last say if they play their cards right.
