A DEDICATED City fan will travel by ferry, plane, train and tube to watch his club take on Oxford United in the Blue Square Premier play-off final at Wembley.
Paul Clelland faces an epic 22-hour journey to London from his home in Shetland, which is more than 100 miles off the Scottish coast.
He must first take a 12-hour overnight ferry from Shetland to Aberdeen, then catch a flight from Aberdeen to London Gatwick before boarding a train to London Victoria and finally taking the London Underground to Wembley stadium.
The 37-year-old, who has supported City since his father first took him to Bootham Crescent as a nine-year-old, said the journey had cost him more than £500.
He said: “It’s a bit of a trek and it’s taken a lot of planning, but it will be worth it.”
