I CANNOT believe all the negativity towards the new coalition Government, most of it so far from journalists.

I know it is their job to be objective, but reminding the new leaders what they said about each other during the election run-up is, in my opinion, mischief making.

David Cameron took a big step in accepting that without co-operation from the Liberal Democrats, he would find it difficult to get any changes in place. A coalition was the only solution. Even though everyone thought the Labour Party were closer to the ideals of the Liberals, their differences meant there was no realistic way they could continue in power. Mr Cameron did what was best for the country in order to get us out of the mire. Also, the sniping going on from Tory MPs who have missed out on ministerial posts is at best pathetic and at worse damaging to this very new Government. All MPs from all parties need to remember they serve the people who put them there. It is time to put differences behind and accept this new type of Government.

After all, we have tried one party leadership for of years and the yo-yoing between the two main parties has made me dizzy and the country poorer.
