A GROUP of travellers who faced legal action after “spoiling” an area next to one of York’s biggest museums have left the area.
The Yorkshire Air museum had been concerned that the make-shift traveller’s camp, at the Airfield Business Park in Elvington would spoil visitors’ enjoyment of the attraction.
A worker at the business park confirmed that the “camp” of about 30 cars and caravans had left over the weekend and had not left much litter behind.
