FIRST Hull Trains has announced it is reintroducing its Selby to London Sunday service.
The company says its first train on Sundays will once again stop at Howden and Selby en route to the capital following a hiatus over the winter months when the service was diverted through Goole due to problems with the rail infrastructure.
From this Sunday, the 9.07am departure from Hull to London will arrive at Howden at 9.30am and at Selby at 9.41am with an arrival time into London Kings Cross of 11.47am.
Tracey Parkinson, customer services manager for First Hull Trains, said: “Naturally we were disappointed that operational issues resulted in our first service on a Sunday morning being diverted. Our team has worked tirelessly to rectify the situation over winter period and I am delighted that things will be back to normal.”
