Venue regular Tim Bell claimed the top spot at Langwith Lakes on Sunday.
Angler Bell won from peg two on Bethany’s Lake, where pellet across to the island again proved the top method for carp to 3lb.
At the whistle, he had 96lb 5oz to go on the scales.
Roger Holmes also made a return to the frame taking second place with 84lb 3oz after a day spent working pellet down the middle and inside margins, carp to 3lb again being the target.
