Were you a Brownie or Rainbow at St Hilda’s Church, Tang Hall Lane, York?
This year GirlGuiding UK is celebrating its centenary.
The girls at St Hilda’s are celebrating as it is the Brownies 80th Birthday and the 20th birthday of the Rainbows. GirlGuiding UK still provides a unique girl only space and is relevant to today’s girls. We will be holding an open afternoon on Saturday, June 19, in the hall from 2pm until 4pm, where photographs and other memorabilia will be on display as well as refreshments.
We are looking for any photographs, items, memories that could be included in the display. We would also like to invite anyone with a connection to St Hilda’s Brownies or Rainbows to visit us on the afternoon.
If you have any items which you would be willing to lend or know of someone who would like a personal invite please contact: St Hilda’s Brownies/Rainbows c/o 11 Markham Crescent, York, YO31 8NS, or email tanghallhelp@hotmail.co.uk Jenny Jackson, Markham Crescent, York.
