POLICE in York are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing woman who is vulnerable due to health issues.
Dawn Thompson, 43, was last seen in the Heslington area of the city at 5.30pm on Monday.
She is diabetic and is not believed to have her medication with her.
Dawn was reported missing at 7pm and officers carried out searches throughout the evening and they have continued today.
She is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with a heavy build and short, unkempt, mousy-coloured hair. When Dawn was last seen she was wearing a white England football shirt featuring a red St George’s cross, black trousers, a blue fleece type jacket and a pair of pink pump shoes.
