A FINAL round of 68 earned York golfer Simon Dyson a share of tenth place at the Madrid Masters today.
Dyson added the four-under-par round to earlier scores of 70, 69 and 70 to finish on 11-under-par in a six-way tie for tenth.
The 32-year-old dropped a shot at the par-five third hole, but picked up shots at the fifth, seventh and eighth. On the back nine, he birdied the 11th, 12th and 16th, dropping a shot on the 15th.
The week's work earned Dyson 25,425 euros.
Luke Donald (21-under) won the tournament by a shot from Rhys Davies.
