TWO York charities shared more than £700 thanks to the fundraising efforts of staff from Sainsbury’s.
Dawn Moore and Jodie Watson, of Sainsbury’s in Blossom Street, handed over cheques for £355 to Sarah Atkinson, of St Leonard’s Hospice, and Kath Aveyard, who runs For the Love of Bryony.
Mrs Moore said: “These were our chosen charities for last year. We raised the money in a number of ways including a pirate day and a collection on the tills.”
