A YORK hotel will be pulling out the stops next month to help care for the city’s carers.
The Best Western Monkbar Hotel is working closely with the York Carers Forum to help it celebrate the service and dedication given by carers during the UK Carers Week, which begins on Monday, June 14. Last year, hotel director June Nelsey was appointed a patron of the York Carers Forum, as she herself had been a carer both for her husband and mother. The hotel will sponsor a day of information, entertainment and activities, featuring singers, massages, refreshments, musical entertainment and a visit from the Lord Mayor, on Monday, June 14.
