REGULARS at a York pub are getting a real buzz after it reopened its doors following a massive revamp.
The Beeswing, in Hull Road, has been transformed into a “fresh and modern” meeting place for all, said new landlady Zoe Nichol.
She said the pub has had a refurbishment worth tens of thousands of pounds following its closure in February this year.
York pub entrepreneur Pete Pendlebury took on the running of the Beeswing, owned by Enterprise Inns, after its previous landlord Phil Cain was killed in a car accident.
The Beeswing reopened on Wednesday and now specialises in guest ales and wines to attract the local community and students to the pub.
