PARAMEDICS and firefighters were called after a motorist smashed into railings near a shopping park in York.
The accident happened shortly before 10.30am yesterday at the Clifton Moor retail park.
The driver of the Vauxhall Astra escaped unharmed following the collision.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said they were called to the incident to clear up a small fuel leak following the collision.
