MEMBERS of the public are being urged to have their say as part of a review for future developments in East Yorkshire.
A campaign to re-open the Hull to York Railway, via Beverley, is calling on residents to make their views known as part of East Riding Council’s planning department’s new Local Development Framework (LDF). The LDF seeks to establish a strategic vision for the next generation of development. Their Allocation Development Plan Document presents development options for 50 East Yorkshire settlements ranging from housing and retail use to green space and transport. It also includes the proposed route for the Beverley to York railway and identifies station sites.
Any submissions should be made to the forward planning department at East Riding Council. This can be done by emailing on forward.planning@eastriding.gov.uk
