A GARDENER has been treated in hospital for suspected neck injuries after a large branch fell from a tree and trapped him while he was cutting grass.
Firefighters were called to the incident at the junction between Windmill Rise and Poppleton Road in York at about 2.10pm yesterday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said officers lifted the branch off the 47-year-old man, who had been sitting on a grass cutting machine.
