POLICE have vowed to pursue wanted men for as long as it takes, after a fugitive prisoner rioter was finally put back behind bars.
William Edmonds, 49, spent 12 years on the run after his part in the 1998 Full Sutton Prison riot, which caused £2 million damage.
But Humberside Police tracked him down to his hiding place in Amsterdam and had him extradited, and he later pleaded guilty to a charge of prison mutiny.
He has been jailed for four and a half years.
