THEY call him the Pocklington Rocket, now there is a chance to see boxer Harry Matthews in full flow as he gets into gear for his next fight.
The middleweight is opening the doors of his training camp on Saturday at the Layerthorpe gym at York Amateur Boxing Club from 4pm to 5.30pm and wants members of the public to watch him in a hard work out.
Matthews is fighting Irishman Ciaran Healy at Belfast’s Kings Hall on June 11 as he bids to extend his unbeaten run as a professional to ten victories.
Those who turn out can watch Matthews spar, work the body bag and pads during a session with trainer Glenn Banks.
