CHARITY volunteers were rewarded for all their hard work at a special tea party in York.
In honour of National Volunteers Week, Marie Curie Cancer Care said a big thank-you to their volunteers with a tea party at the Royal York Hotel on Wednesday.
Tea and cakes were served to celebrate the achievements of the charity’s volunteers throughout the year.
About 25 volunteers attended and awards were given, such as the Long Service Award, presented for more than ten years of service to the charity.
