While on holiday in America a good number of years ago, I spotted a sticker in the back of a car which read: “When all guns are outlawed, only the outlaws will have guns.”
With the recent tragic events in Cumbria, what could be more true?
Gary Flakes, St Swithin’s Walk, Holgate, York.
• Reading the article in The Press, “Double arrest over airgun shooting” (June 2), and the incidents involving these weapons we read in the media from time to time, how long will it be before the Government introduces some form of licensing for these weapons, and also others that are used in sport such as crossbows?
How many more incidents such as this have to be reported before action is taken?
Keith Chapman, Custance Walk, York.
