CRIES of “Rooooneeeey” during the World Cup may cause some confusion among pub bar staff who have officially changed their name to that of the England striker.
Ten employees at the Black Bull pub, in Ripon, have changed their names by deed poll to mark the build-up to the tournament.
Pub manager Daniel Short has also got in on the act changing his name to Fabio Capello.
Mr Capello, 25, said the staff will revert back to their original names at the end of the tournament.
